Marketing Manager (Chinese & Asian Markets)

As the College continues to expand its international student recruitment and brand presence, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing activities in the Chinese market while supporting the College's wider marketing strategy across Asian markets.
The Role
Reporting to the College Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen the College's reputation, increase student enrolments, and expand partnerships within the Chinese and Asian education markets.
This role combines strategic planning, marketing management, business development and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and review the College's annual marketing strategy for the Chinese market.
Support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives across other Asian markets.
Prepare annual marketing plans, promotional schedules and recruitment campaigns.
Develop and manage the marketing budget and monitor campaign performance.
Analyse market trends, competitor activity and student recruitment data to identify new business opportunities.
Establish and maintain relationships with education agents, partner institutions, schools and other strategic stakeholders.
Lead the planning and coordination of education exhibitions, recruitment seminars, promotional events and partnership activities.
Oversee the development of bilingual marketing materials, digital content and brand communications.
Coordinate digital marketing activities across appropriate online platforms and social media channels.
Work closely with academic, admissions and student support teams to ensure marketing activities align with the College's strategic objectives.
Prepare regular marketing performance reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
Ensure all marketing activities comply with College policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
Occasional domestic and international travel may be required to attend education exhibitions, partner meetings and recruitment events.
Skills and Experience
Applicants should demonstrate:
Previous experience in marketing, marketing management, business development or student recruitment.
Experience working within a tertiary education provider, private training establishment (PTE), university, college or other education organisation is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of the Chinese international education market and student recruitment channels.
Good understanding of education markets across Asia would be an advantage.
Experience developing and implementing strategic marketing plans.
Experience managing marketing projects, campaigns and promotional activities.
Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder relationship management abilities.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is highly desirable due to the nature of the role and regular communication with Chinese-speaking education partners and prospective students.
