Full-time Position

We are seeking 5 experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team. The role involves supervising day-to-day construction activities on-site, supporting project delivery, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with tradespeople, subcontractors, and project managers to assist in the coordination and execution of building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities

·       Assist in planning and organising work schedules for site workers

·       Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications

·       Monitor progress of works to ensure timely project delivery

·       Provide hands-on support and guidance to trades staff when required

·       Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements

·       Inspect work in progress to ensure quality standards are met

·       Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors on site

·       Report site progress and issues to the project manager or senior management

·       Assist in resolving on-site construction issues as they arise

Requirements:

·       A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, or

·       A bachelor’s degree or higher in any field

·       Experience working in a supervisory or leading hand role on construction sites

·       Strong understanding of building methods, materials, and construction processes

·       Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans

·       Good communication and leadership skills

·       Ability to work in a hands-on environment and lead by example

·       Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with up to 45 hours per week depending on project and site requirements.

Working places

Place of work includes North Island and South Island depending on the projects needs
