The role is essential to ensure consistent business performance, maintain high customer service standards, effectively manage staff, control inventory, and support the ongoing growth and profitability of the business.

Key Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience OR A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, direct and control the daily operations of both retail stores.
  • Supervise, train, motivate and manage store staff across multiple locations.
  • Prepare rosters and allocate duties to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue and profitability.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently maintained.
  • Manage purchasing, stock ordering, stock control, and inventory levels.
  • Monitor product displays, pricing, merchandising, and promotional activities.
  • Resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain records relating to sales, staffing, stock, and financial performance.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with suppliers and coordinate stock deliveries and purchasing arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Conduct regular store audits and performance reviews across both locations.
