Carpenter

We are looking for experienced carpenters to join our team, you will be required to work in our sites, with weekly guaranteed hours of at least 30 and a gross hourly rate of $35 per hour.

Job Duties:

• Reading of blueprints or detailed instructions to complete the layout for a project.
• Taking measurements and calculating size and amount of materials needed.
• Cutting and shaping material using a variety of tools.
• Erecting framework and roof framing, sub-flooring and floorboards.
• Assembling of prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install.
• Working closely with other project members to ensure health & safety rules are adheredto.
• Completing all structures to the highest quality workmanship.

Experience:

• 3 years’ experience or more experience as a Carpenter is preferred.
• Experience in framing, cladding, formwork and concrete is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Must be hard working and motivated.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug test and pass.
• Self-motivated and a pro-active attitude.
