Roofer - Bay of Plenty

We are seeking experienced Roofers to join our client's growing team in the Bay of Plenty region. These are full-time, permanent roles with a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, offering a variety of installation, replacement, and repair work across residential, commercial, and project-based sites.
Location: Bay of Plenty Pay: NZD $30.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on experience Hours: Minimum 30 guaranteed per week Employment type: Full-time, permanent

The Role

• Install and replace long-run, tile, and membrane roofing systems
• Install roofing underlay, flashings, ridge caps and edge details
• Complete roof repairs and re-roofs on residential and commercial buildings
• Work from plans, specifications and site instructions
• Ensure work is watertight and completed to a high standard
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site requirements

What We're Looking For

• A recognised trade qualification in Roofing (NZQF Level 4 or overseas equivalent), OR at least 3 years' relevant industry experience installing, repairing and replacing roofing systems
• Good technical skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, hardworking, and professional approach
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Commitment to health and safety, including working at heights
• Full driver's licence
• Willingness to travel to other regions occasionally as project demand requires
