Location: Auckland CBD

Positions Available: We are looking for a Hairstylist that is also has an interest in makeup  that enjoys content creation.

Employment Type: Permanent full-time role

Days Required: Tuesday to Saturday

Hours Per Week: Guaranteed 30 Hours is standard (overtime by agreement)

Hourly Rate: $30 to $40hr depending on experience, plus over time rate applies (by arrangement)

Who we are: Drake on Drake, a premier hair salon in the heart of Auckland CBD, is seeking an experienced Hair Stylist, that is also a competent makeup artist that enjoys content creation to join our talented team. As an Experienced Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our discerning clientele, plus contributing to the salon's social media platform.

What we are looking for: Experienced professional who are motivated, honest and reliable, attention to detail and takes pride in their work.

Job Description: The below key tasks must be carried out to a very high standard

• Delivering a wide range of hair styling services, including cutting, colouring and treatments, + Special Occassion hair.  Meet the unique needs and preferences of each client

• Staying up-to-date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide clients

with the most innovative and effective salon experience

• Providing expert advice and recommendations to clients on hair care and styling to help them achieve their desired look
• Contributing to the overall success of the salon by actively participating in team meetings, training sessions, and salon events
• Film edit and post to Drake standards 
• Offer makeup services to clients on request

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience as a professional Hair Stylist in a salon environment
• Proven expertise in a wide range of hair cutting, colouring, and styling techniques
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a personalised and enjoyable salon experience for clients
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure efficient client turnover and high-quality service delivery
• A passion for the hair and make up industry, plus a commitment to ongoing professional development and social media
• Work Rights: Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
