As a Water Retic Technician, you will play a key role in the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of three waters infrastructure and associated common services. This is a practical, hands-on position working alongside experienced crews to deliver high-quality underground infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installation of water, wastewater and stormwater reticulation systems.
  • Installation of common services and associated infrastructure.
  • Pressure testing, commissioning and quality assurance testing of installed networks.
  • Reading and interpreting plans and engineering specifications.
  • Operating plant and equipment where appropriately licensed.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Working collaboratively with supervisors, operators and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Level 4 Pipeline Construction & Maintenance (Drinking Water Strand) qualification, or be close to completion.
  • Current Class 1 drivers licence , Class 2 preferred.
  • Wheels, Tracks and Rollers (WTR) endorsement preferred.
  • Proven experience in water reticulation, drainage, pipeline construction or civil infrastructure.
  • Sound understanding of installation and testing requirements for three waters infrastructure.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive team attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
