Divya’s Makeover is seeking an experienced and professional Beauty Therapist to join our
team. The successful candidate will provide a range of beauty treatments while delivering
excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.


Employment details:
Position: Beauty Therapist
Hours: Minimum 32 hours per week.
Pay rate: Starting from $35.00 per hour depending on skills and level of experience.
Location: Divya’s Makeover, New Plymouth, New Zealand.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
 Provide beauty treatments including, cosmetic and corrective makeup, hair removal
(waxing, threading etc), facials, massages, eyelash extensions, lash lifts, eyebrow
shaping, eyebrow tinting, eyebrow lamination, and nail services.
 Consult with clients to understand their beauty needs and recommend suitable
treatments.
 Perform treatments safely and professionally while following hygiene and infection
control standards.
 Prepare and maintain treatment areas, tools, and equipment.
 Maintain client records, including treatment details and product recommendations.
 Provide advice on skincare, beauty maintenance, and aftercare.
 Promote salon services and products to clients.
 Manage client appointments, enquiries, and payments.
 Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional salon environment.
 Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience Required:
* At least 2 years of relevant experience
* Experience providing a range of beauty treatments.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Professional attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.
Relevant beauty therapy certificate (would be beneficial).
