Job Title: Software Engineer

 

Key tasks and responsibilities:

·         Analyzing customer’s requirements directly, capturing prerequisites from IT stakeholders, sound practices, performance and reliability and provide a divergent thinking solution. 

·         Conception and development implementation of web portals, respectively their mobile application and content management sites.

·         Responsible in preparing and owning development and its implementation of innovative ideas end-to end by taking complete ownership.

·         Assist in deploying applications to Dev, QA, Production environments and migrations. Covering Unit, System testing & coordinating with the testing team and resolving the issues, if any.

·         Mentoring team members, including ensuring there’s time quality deliverables by selection and/or development of the software components and hardware requirements, and provides guidance in technical and business.

·         Aiding the team by gathering requirements in business terms from the client and translating them into technical terms to formulate the standard methodologies and development plan.

·         Handling the Supports activities such as Incidents, Service requests and Technical Problem by recording and delivering Within the SLA matrix.

·         Preparing various knowledge documents/transfer sessions through which a fresh associate resource could catch up things in an easy and faster way.

·         Capturing details and Documentation of the entire project process flow from end to end.

 

 

Pay: Minimum $55.00 / hour   Maximum $72.00 / hour

 

Guaranteed hours of work per week:  permanent full time, minimum 38 hours  

 

Requirements for the job:

·         A Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in any major, major in IT field is preferred but not compulsory, other majors can be considered; If you do not have the qualification, you should have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

·         Good skills of developing, debugging, releasing, deploying and testing software applications

·         Full time availability

·         No criminal record

·         Candidates need to be NZ citizen/resident
