We are seeking two reliable Truck Drivers to join our operation. We offer a pay rate of $30.00–$35.00 per hour and guarantee a minimum of 30 working hours per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive heavy rigid trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently;
  • Collect and deliver goods to customers and designated locations;
  • Position trucks safely for loading and unloading;
  • Check goods against delivery documents and ensure loads are correctly secured;
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods where required;
  • Inspect vehicles before and after each trip and report any faults or maintenance requirements;
  • Plan delivery routes and meet scheduled collection and delivery times;
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks and other required documentation;
  • Comply with road transport laws, work-time requirements and company health and safety procedures;
  • Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good operating condition; and
  • Communicate with dispatch staff, customers and other team members regarding deliveries and delays.

Minimum requirements

  • A current full New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence or higher is essential;
  • Sound knowledge of New Zealand road rules and heavy-vehicle safety requirements;
  • Good communication and time-management skills;
  • Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading where required; and
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
