We are looking for two full-time, permanent Tilers to grow with our team. We offer a competitive pay rate of $30-$35 per hour and guarantee a minimum of 30 working hours per week.

Job Description:

The duties include:

· Examine plans, measure and mark surfaces and lay out work

· Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks and cleaning surfaces

· Apply waterproofing systems to prepared surfaces where required

· Spread adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles and set tiles in position

· Use tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles for edges and corners and around fittings and pipes

· Ensure tiles are correctly aligned, evenly spaced and securely positioned

· Lay ceramic, clay, slate, marble and glass tiles on internal and external walls and floors

· Apply grout between tiles and clean and remove excess grout

· Inspect completed tiled surfaces and repair or replace damaged tiles where required

· Lay granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar flooring where required

· Lay coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaics where required

· Clean and maintain tools and equipment

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure a successful project

· Comply with health and safety standards to minimise risks and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary

To be successful you will need:

· Have at least 2 years’ relevant work experience in the same field or industry

· Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions

· Be physically fit and willingness to work hard

· Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically

· A "can-do" attitude
