The Role

We are looking for a trade-qualified, reliable, and motivated Qualified Wall & Floor Tiler to join our busy onsite team. You will be responsible for executing high-end residential renovations, new builds, and commercial projects from surface prep to final grout lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Remove old tiles, grout, and adhesives; repair defects, level substrates, and ensure walls/floors are ready for installation.
• Waterproofing & Layout: Apply certified waterproofing membranes and moisture barriers in wet areas to New Zealand compliance standards.
• Setting & Alignment: Measure, mark, layout, and accurately align tiles ensuring consistent spacing and level finishes.
• Materials Work: Cut, shape, and trim a variety of materials including ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, large-format, and marble tiles.
  • Finishing: Mix and apply specialized adhesives, grouts, and sealants to manufacturer specifications.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Keep a clean, structured workspace and follow strictly outlined site health and safety practices.

What We Are Looking For

• • Qualifications: Qualified Wall and Floor Tiler Level 4 BCITO or equivalent trade certificate).
  • Eye for Detail: High standards of accuracy, alignment, and crisp finishing work.
    • Reliability: Punctual, physically fit, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving trade team.
    • Logistics: A valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport to move between regional jobsites.
