Harvey Sportswear Albany Limited Trading as Stirling Sports Albany, is seeking motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistants to join our Stirling Sports Store at Albany . The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent service, maintaining store standards, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the store.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Hourly Rate: NZD $26.00–$30.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

     

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Present, promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers.

Provide quality service to customers and ensure that they have the best possible experience.

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

Reach out to customer leads through cold calling whenever necessary.

Achieve agreed upon personal and retail targets & KPI’s within schedule.

Manage customer complaints and escalate to management if required.

Perform tasks as per Sterling Sports guidelines.

Upsell & Cross-sell products and services where possible.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Prior experience in a customer service or retail sales environment would be advantageous.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.

Secondary school education or equivalent is essential.
