Nail Technician

We are looking for experienced and passionate Nail Technicians to join our busy beauty salon in Taupo, Waikato. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality beauty service and exceptional customer service in a clean, professional environment.
- Hourly Rate: NZD $26 – $30 depending on skills and experience
- Working Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week, up to 60 hours per week
- Type of work: permanent full time
- Work region: Waikato

Job Description:
- Provide manicures (buff, shape, and polish clients' nails) and spa pedicure (treat
clients' feet and toenails) based on accurate assessment of clients’ nails
- Carry out acrylic nails, gel nail, silk nail, fiber glass nail, UV gel, nail extension, nail
repair, and other specialized hand and foot treatments
- Dipping powder on clients’ real nails and dipping powder with tip (extension)
- Decorate and design on clients’ nails (nail arts)
- Massage clients' hands and feet
- Refer clients to health professional regarding nails diseases and problems
- Provide advice on nail care and relevant treatments
- Arrange appointments and keep clients’ data

- Communicate to reach clients’ need, ensure clients’ satisfactions
- Provide appropriate training to new staff
- Work in a multicultural workplace
- Any other duties required reasonably by the Salon Manager.

Requirements:
- At least 6 months of relevant experience OR a level 4 or higher qualification in nail technology, beauty therapy or a related field
- Strong knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays and extended hours if required
