Looking for your next driving role? We have an opportunity for an experienced Class 5 Truck & Trailer Driver to join a busy quarry operation in Christchurch.

This is a hands-on role transporting shingle, aggregate and quarry materials around site. You'll need to be confident operating a Road Ranger gearbox, reversing truck and trailer combinations, and manoeuvring safely in a busy quarry environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Operating a Class 5 truck and trailer in an active quarry
  • Transporting shingle, aggregate and other quarry materials
  • Reversing into loading and unloading areas
  • Jack-knifing truck and trailer combinations when required
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining a high standard of safety
  • Working closely with loaders and other quarry plant operators

What you'll need
  • Current NZ Class 5 licence
  • Proven experience driving truck and trailer combinations
  • Confident driving a Road Ranger gearbox
  • Excellent reversing and manoeuvring skills
  • Ability to safely jack-knife a truck and trailer
  • Previous quarry, civil or earthmoving experience preferred
  • Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
