As a General Labourer, you will play an important role in supporting operations across a range of industries, including construction, civil, manufacturing, trade workshops, and logistics environments. The ideal candidates will be physically fit, adaptable, safety-focused, and willing to take on a variety of hands-on tasks to ensure projects and operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Performing site cleanup, material sorting, surface preparation, and basic physical maintenance across civil, industrial, and workshop environments.
- Supporting trade technicians and plant operators by feeding raw materials into machinery, clearing production lines, and using hand and power tools.
- Loading and unloading freight, stacking pallets, performing stock counts, packing industrial goods, and operating basic material-handling equipment.
- Assisting with civil and infrastructure works, including digging trenches, assisting with road works, spreading aggregate, and setting up site traffic safety zones under direction.
Requirments and Skills
- Minimum 24 months of experience working in fast-paced industrial, construction, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
- Proven ability to adapt between construction sites, factory environments, warehouses, and workshop settings while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Experience operating powered hand tools, industrial cleaning machinery, manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform continuous standing, heavy lifting (up to 25kg), bending, and manual loading over long shifts.
- Valid Site Safe Passport or Forklift endorsement is highly preferred.
- Full NZ Driver's Licence or equivalent and reliable transport.
- Be willing to undergo random drug tests while employed.
- Must be a New Zealand Citizen, New Zealand Resident, or legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
Applicants must be willing to travel and relocate for work as required. The successful applicants may be required to work on projects in different locations throughout New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Hawke's Bay, Gisborne, Wellington, Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland. Flexibility to move between project locations and adapt to different work environments is required. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience across a variety of industries and workplaces while exploring New Zealand’s diverse regions.
This is a full-time permanent role, and the hourly pay rate is between NZ$25 and NZ$30, depending on experience and skills. The work hours are from 30 hours minimum to 70 hours maximum per week, and they are to be worked between Monday and Friday between 7 am and 5 pm. They may be required to work on weekends.
