Scaffolder

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Scaffolder to join our team in Auckland, New
Zealand.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Working Days: 6 days per week

Hours: Minimum 40 hours guaranteed; up to 50 hours per week

Pay Rate: NZD $28.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand project requirements and scaffolding needs. 
•  Estimate labour, timeframes, and scaffolding materials required for each project. 
• Calculate scaffold loadings and determine appropriate scaffold systems and platforms.
• Load, transport, and unload scaffolding materials safely.
• Assemble and erect scaffolding structures using steel tubes, braces, fittings, and other
  components.
• Install planks, guardrails, toe boards, and base plates in accordance with safety
  requirements.
• Inspect and adjust scaffolding throughout the project to maintain structural integrity
  and compliance.
• Identify workplace hazards and implement appropriate safety controls.
• Dismantle scaffolding safely at project completion and ensure all equipment is
  recovered without damage.
• Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of scaffolding equipment to ensure
  ongoing safety and compliance.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant scaffolding work experience (essential).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scaffold plans.
• Good understanding of scaffold safety standards and safe work practices.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work at heights.
• Good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
