Akshar 1933 Limited trade as  Sharland Ave Superette, Auckland, New Zealand. We supply produce, food and other retail needs to our local community. We are seeking a Retail Assistant for our busy store.

 Retail Assistant Job Description:

You would be required to perform the following duties not limited to:

·   Greeting all customers in a friendly and appropriate manner

·   Assisting customers about products queries

·   Maintaining an effective knowledge of general product and product history

·   Receiving and checking orders from suppliers to ensure accuracy

·   Labelling goods and ensuring the correct price is displayed

·   Stocking products on the shelf, storage and merchandising

·   Ensure stock is properly priced and displayed

·   Completing all daily store operations

·   Processing and handling cash with accuracy and diligence

·   Ensure the store sales and inventories all correctly accounted

·   Maintain the cleanliness of the store

·     Perform any other job responsibility as requested by the store manager

·     Follow established policies, procedures, guidelines, and manuals to ensure compliance, safety, and                     profitability.

This is an entry level position and does not require qualification or experience as full training will be provided. However, an experience in retail industry work will be an advantage.
