Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team and take ownership of delivering high-quality specialist construction projects. 

 

This is an opportunity for a proactive and accountable Project Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions, solving problems, and building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and site teams. 

About the Role:

 

You will be responsible for managing multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery across programme, commercial, and quality requirements.

Manage and coordinate multiple specialist construction projects simultaneously

Work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams

Oversee project planning, programming, procurement, and commercial management

Identify solutions, make decisions, and take ownership of project outcomes

About You: 

 

We are looking for someone with: 

 

  •  


5+ years’ project management experience within the New Zealand construction industry 

 

  •  


Experience working for a specialist subcontractor in concrete remediation, structural strengthening, bridge maintenance, or similar works 

 

  •  


Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects 

 

  •  


Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with clients, consultants, and site teams 

 

  •  


A solid understanding of contracts, variations, procurement, programming, and commercial management 

 

  •  


A proactive, professional approach with the ability to take ownership and deliver results
