We are seeking two (2) full-time permanent Electronics Technicians to join our Auckland-based team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing a wide range of consumer electronic devices while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnose faults in smartphones, laptops, desktop computers, tablets, smartwatches, gaming consoles, and other consumer electronic devices.
- Diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
- Perform board-level repairs, micro-soldering, and component replacement where required.
- Replace displays, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, microphones, keyboards, motherboards, and other electronic components.
- Carry out software troubleshooting, operating system installation, firmware updates, and device configuration.
- Perform secure data backup, data transfer, and data wiping in accordance with company procedures.
- Test, configure, and prepare repaired devices prior to dispatch.
- Conduct quality control testing to ensure all repairs meet company and manufacturer standards.
- Accurately record diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and completed work within the company's repair management system.
- Maintain high repair quality while minimising repeat repairs and customer returns.
- Provide technical support and repair updates to customers and internal staff when required.
- Identify recurring product faults and provide technical feedback to improve repair processes.
- Maintain current knowledge of repair techniques, products, and industry developments.
- Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ensure secure handling and tracking of customer devices throughout the repair process.
- Work collaboratively with customer service staff and other technicians to resolve complex repair cases.
- Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians where required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
- Assist with refurbishment, testing, grading, and quality assessment of electronic devices.
