LINCOLN NZ LIMITED, established in December 2022, operates Buns & Rolls located in LynnMall, New Lynn, Auckland. We are dedicated to serving fresh, authentic, and flavorful Vietnamese street-style cuisine.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Shop Manager to organise and control the daily operations of Buns & Rolls, a busy food court restaurant located in LynnMall. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing business performance, staff management, customer service standards, stock control, and compliance with operational and food safety requirements.

The role involves both operational supervision and business management responsibilities in a fast-paced retail food environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

·       Determine product mix, stock levels, and service standards to meet customer demand and business objectives

·       Formulating and implementing purchasing policies, pricing strategies, and promotional activities

·       Set and adjust pricing in line with business strategy and market conditions

·       Promote and market the restaurant’s products and services

·       Sell goods and services and provide guidance to customers on menu items and product selection when required

·       Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales transactions, and financial performance

·       Monitor daily takings and basic budgeting and financial planning for the store

·       Recruit, train, roster, supervise, and evaluate staff performance

·       Ensure staff follow operational procedures, customer service standards, and hygiene requirements

·       Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and food safety standards

·       Oversee cleanliness, presentation, and overall operational readiness of the store at all times

·       Coordinate efficient workflow during peak trading hours to ensure smooth service delivery

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:

·       A relevant NZQF Diploma Level 5 or higher qualification in business or hospitality management; or

·       At least two years of relevant experience in business or hospitality management

Other Skills Required

·       Strong leadership, staff training, and supervision skills

·       Excellent customer service and communication skills

·       Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced food court environment

·       Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
