Electronic Equipment Trades Worker

Requirements:

2 years of relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification, Bachelor's degree or above, no major restrictions.

Must be flexible for work, able to work over the weekends, and must cover our required shifts.

Long-term and full commitments are required.

Inspect and test various machinery, equipment, instruments, and control systems to troubleshoot and diagnose faults.

Troubleshoot electrical faults: service servo drives, variable frequency drives (VFDs), sensors, limit switches, control cabinet wiring (e.g., short circuits/tripping), and motor overloads; interpret electrical schematics and rectify wiring issues.

Commission, repair, and replace worn or damaged parts and wiring; perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and instruments.

Reassemble equipment components, conduct trial runs, and perform equipment commissioning and calibration.

Instruct operators on standardized operating procedures to prevent equipment malfunctions.

Perform simple modifications to workshop tooling and fixtures, as well as the assembly of small brackets; demonstrate mechanical assembly capabilities.

Conduct on-site safety inspections of small power tools and temporary power distribution boxes for home renovation projects; perform minor repairs on equipment; handle temporary electromechanical setups and maintenance of construction machinery.
