Do you have a passion for the agriculture sector ? We are looking for three team leaders to oversee and manage orchard operations, ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and productivity.

  • Position: Team Leader
  • Hourly rate: $26 - $29 per hour.
  • Guaranteed hours: 30 per week.
  • Maximum hours: 55 per week.
  • Location: Whakatane, Bay of Plenty

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate a team of workers to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Allocate work as directed by the Supervisor and monitor task progress.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and on-the-job instruction to team members.
  • Monitor team performance and report any issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure workers comply with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
  • Conduct daily pre-start briefings and promote safe work practices.
  • Assist with the induction and training of new team members.
  • Maintain attendance and task completion records as required.
  • Report hazards, incidents, equipment issues, and staffing concerns to the Supervisor.
  • Promote teamwork, productivity, and professional workplace behaviour at all times.

Required Qualifications or Experience

  • Must pass drug and alcohol testing.
