About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Operator to join our team at our 3PL (third-party logistics) warehouse facility in Mangere, Auckland. The role is responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods to meet our clients' operational and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

· Take delivery of goods and supplies, and check for damaged or missing items.

· Store goods appropriately within the warehouse.

· Pick and pack customer orders accurately for dispatch.

· Move stock using manual handling methods, lifting equipment or a forklift.

· Load and unload goods for dispatch in accordance with production and delivery standards.

· Input and maintain accurate stock and inventory records in the warehouse management system.

· Carry out regular stock counts as required.

· Ensure all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.

· Operate in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements.

· Keep work areas clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following minimum requirements:

· A relevant qualification in warehousing, logistics or supply chain; or

· At least six months of relevant warehouse, logistics or 3PL experience.

The successful applicant will also demonstrate:

· A safe, reliable and conscientious approach to work.

· The ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

· Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and orders.

· Physical fitness to carry out manual handling and warehouse duties safely.

· A forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
