About the Role

The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and/or industrial environments. This role ensures all work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

·         Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and associated equipment.

·         Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.

·         Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.

·         Ensure all plumbing work complies with New Zealand building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

·         Test plumbing systems for functionality and safety.

·         Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

·         Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements.

·         Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Location Auckland, New Zealand

Hours of Work Minimum guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week

Pay Rate $35.00 – $37.00 per hour, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.

Minimum Requirements

·         At least 3 years’ relevant work experience in a similar plumbing role

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Good problem-solving and communication skills.

·         Knowledge of relevant plumbing codes, standards, and health and safety requirements.

·         A valid driver’s licence is preferred.
