Drive the implementation of systems, data capabilities, and technology architecture during a period of significant transformation
Fixed-Term Contract | Cromwell Based | Hybrid Flexibility Available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced digital and technology leader to drive the implementation of enterprise-wide systems, data capabilities, and technology architecture during a period of significant organisational transformation.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will lead the development and delivery of the organisation's digital roadmap, ensuring the successful selection, implementation, and integration of critical business systems while establishing the foundations for future growth and operational excellence.

Initially, this role will be predominantly onsite in Cromwell to build relationships, understand business requirements, and embed systems and processes. As implementation progresses, hybrid working arrangements will be available.

About the Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to lead a greenfield digital transformation programme where you will have genuine influence over technology direction, architecture, operating models, and vendor partnerships.

You will work closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to define the future state digital environment, implement core business systems, establish governance frameworks, and ensure technology solutions enable organisational objectives. The role requires someone comfortable making strategic decisions while remaining hands-on enough to drive execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of the digital strategy and target architecture.
  • Define and implement technology roadmaps that support business growth and operational requirements.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and integration of core business systems.
  • Establish data governance frameworks, data migration strategies, and reporting capabilities.
  • Develop scalable, fit-for-purpose digital solutions that support long-term organisational needs.
  • Make critical decisions regarding systems architecture, platforms, and digital operating models.
  • Manage technology transition programmes, ensuring business continuity throughout implementation.
  • Establish effective cybersecurity, resilience, and risk management practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, executive leaders, implementation partners, and service providers.
  • Provide regular reporting on programme progress, risks, budget, and outcomes to executive leadership.
About You

You are a commercially minded digital leader who combines strategic thinking with delivery capability. You are confident influencing senior stakeholders, navigating ambiguity, and making well-informed decisions in complex environments.
To be successful you will need a mix of:
  • Proven experience leading large-scale technology, digital transformation, or systems implementation programmes.
  • Experience defining technology architecture, operating models, and digital strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
  • Demonstrated success managing external delivery partners, vendors, and service providers.
  • Experience overseeing data governance, systems integration, and organisational change initiatives.
  • Strong programme leadership skills with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational delivery.
  • Experience working within a greenfield, start-up, establishment, or newly formed organisational environment.
  • Experience leading organisation-wide ERP, asset management, customer, finance, compliance, or data platform implementations.
What's on Offer
  • Opportunity to shape the future digital landscape of a growing organisation.
  • Direct access to and partnership with the CEO.
  • Significant influence over technology strategy and investment decisions.
  • Diverse and challenging transformation programme.
  • Cromwell-based role with hybrid flexibility available once systems and processes are embedded.
  • Fixed-term contract with the opportunity to leave a lasting organisational legacy.
If you're passionate about building digital capability from the ground up and thrive in environments where you can make a genuine strategic impact, we'd love to hear from you.
