Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing, maintaining, and servicing a variety of HVAC and heat pump systems, including ducted units, VRF systems, FCU's, split, and multi-split ventilation systems in residential and commercial settings.
  • Carrying out all associated pipework, electrical wiring, and system commissioning to ensure proper setup and functionality.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and routine servicing to keep systems running efficiently.
  • Conducting refrigerant charging, vacuuming, leak testing, and pressure checks in accordance with safety and compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of +3 years' experience in HVAC or heat pump installation, testing, and maintenance in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Current Limited Electrical License (EWRB) and/ or Refrigerant Handling certification preferred.
  • Confident using HVAC tools and equipment such as gauges, VC, pumps, benders and multimeters
  • Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members

Positions available in the following regions: Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Southland, Northland, Taranaki, Gisborne, Canterbury, Otago. When workers are required to travel, appropriate travel and accommodation expenses will be provided. Minimum 30 hours offered per week.
