Job Title:  Wall and floor tiler

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

·         Studying drawings, measuring surfaces, and planning work layouts

·         Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and levelling surfaces

·         Spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and setting tiles in position

·         Ensuring tiles are correctly aligned, evenly spaced, and properly positioned

·         Using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles for edges, corners, and around fittings, pipes, and other obstructions

·         Grouting tile joints

·         Removing excess grout and cleaning tiled surfaces

·         Applying waterproofing systems where required

·         Laying coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaic finishes when required

·         Performing any other duties the employer may reasonably require

Permanent full-time position

Pay rate: minimum $25.00 / hour   -    maximum $32.00 / hour

Minimum guaranteed hours: 30 hours per week

Requirements for the job:

·         At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience is required

·         Be physically fit

·         Full time availability

·         No criminal record

·         Candidates need to be NZ citizens/residents
