Due to the continued business growth and operational requirements, Mad Workers Ltd is seeking two Electronic Technicians to join our team
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
At least two years of relevant work experience;
OR A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification or an equivalent overseas qualification;
Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, connection, testing, and maintenance of smart home systems, CCTV security systems, and alarm systems;
Ability to identify, diagnose, and repair faults in electronic, security, and control systems;
Understanding of residential and commercial installation environments and technical requirements;
Good communication skills and the ability to provide professional customer service
The Electronic Technician will be responsible for:
Examining, testing, and diagnosing faults in electronic security systems, CCTV systems, alarm systems, smart home systems, home theatre equipment, audio-visual systems, and related electronic equipments;
Installing, configuring, programming, and maintaining CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, smart home system, audio-visual systems, and electronic control equipment;
Testing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing defective components, devices, and electronic equipment to ensure safe and reliable operating;
Reassembling, testing, operating, and calibrating electronic equipment and systems following installation, servicing or repairs;
Carrying out scheduled maintenance, inspections, fault-finding, and troubleshooting for residential and commercial electronic systems;
Monitoring system performance and ensuring installed systems comply with relevant safety requirements, technical specifications, and customer expectations;
Providing technical advice and guidance to clients regarding the operation, maintenance, and effective use of electronic security systems, smart home solutions, and audio-visual equipment to minimise faults and improve system perforance.

Competitive pay range: $30-$39 per hour based on skills and experience
Flexible working location: Auckland Region Projects
Guaranteed minimum working hours: 30 hours per week, may require to work on Saturday
Stable full-time permanent role.
