Key Job Responsibilities
· Develop, test and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures and scripts to support ERP reporting, data extraction, reconciliation and client data requests.
· Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, execute optimisation and indexing strategies to maintain stable operation of the Matricle ERP platform.
· Support client onboarding: conduct legacy data mapping, data cleansing, validation and data migration into Matricle ERP; troubleshoot migration discrepancies.
· Investigate and resolve data integrity errors, system data bugs and operational issues reported by internal teams and customers.
· Collaborate with developers, implementation and support teams to translate business requirements into database solutions, custom reports and data workflows.
· Maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries, migration workflows, query logic and database change records.
· Assist database backup, recovery testing and enforce data quality standards across all ERP modules (inventory, sales, purchasing, production, accounting).
· Support system testing, UAT and platform upgrades by verifying dataset consistency across new ERP features.
Candidate Requirements
· Solid commercial experience working with relational databases and advanced SQL.
· Hands-on experience in data analysis, data cleansing, reconciliation or data migration projects.
· Strong problem-solving skills, able to diagnose complex data inconsistencies independently.
· Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical database concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deliver work to agreed deadlines.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field, or equivalent practical industry experience.
· Previous experience working with ERP systems (wholesale, inventory, manufacturing ERP highly valued).
· Familiarity with ETL processes and third-party software integrations.
