HR Administrator

Provide accurate and timely HR administration support across a range of employee processes, ensuring records, documentation, and compliance requirements are managed effectively. Work collaboratively with the AskHR team and wider People teams to deliver a seamless employee experience and identify opportunities to improve HR processes.

About the Role
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused HR Administrator to join our AskHR team and provide high-quality administrative support across a range of core HR processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring HR administration is completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timeframes. You will become a trusted expert in key HR processes managed by the AskHR service, supporting employees, managers, and the wider People team to deliver a seamless HR experience across Health New Zealand. You will manage a variety of tasks including processing employee documentation, supporting onboarding activities, maintaining accurate employee records, monitoring compliance requirements, and responding to HR-related queries. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements that help strengthen and simplify HR services across the organisation. About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in administration, coordination, or a clerical support role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience managing competing priorities and working to deadlines.
- Confidence using Microsoft applications and online systems.
- The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- A proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team goals.
It would be advantageous if you have:
- Experience providing administrative support within a large or complex organisation.
- Experience working with HR systems, employee records, or people-related processes.
- Experience working with confidential information or compliance-related processes.
