Production Operator

Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:30pm Friday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
About the Role
You will initially join the team as a Production Operator, ensuring products are packed accurately, safely and efficiently. As your experience builds, we will support your growth with additional responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating filling and weighing equipment
- Packing products into the correct containers and verifying weight accuracy
- Labelling finished products ready for dispatch
- Completing production documentation and records
- Conducting TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) checks and supporting 5S activities
- Maintaining quality, safety and housekeeping standards
- Working closely with Production and Quality teams to meet operational targets
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or processing environment
- A current forklift licence
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- The ability to follow work instructions and safe operating procedures
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Basic computer skills and confidence using production systems or HMIs
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
Highly Regarded
- Experience operating filling, packing or weighing equipment
- Exposure to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
- Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement practices
