IANYAN LIMITED is a floor covering supply and installation company specialising in carpet, timber flooring and other flooring systems.
We are currently seeking a full-time project coordinator to supervise flooring installation sites and coordinate the labour, materials and other resources required for each project. This is a permanent position.
You will be expected to work between 30 and 60 hours per week, from Monday to Saturday. Working hours may vary depending on project requirements and seasonal demand. A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed.

Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
· Coordinate flooring projects from initial quoting and scheduling through installation, completion and handover.
· Prepare and maintain project schedules, work orders, site instructions, material records and other project documentation.
· Coordinate flooring installers, contractors, materials, tools, equipment and deliveries to meet project requirements and timelines.
· Monitor project progress, labour availability, material usage and installation schedules, and identify potential delays or resource shortages.
· Liaise with clients, builders, Project Managers, suppliers and contractors to respond to enquiries and resolve issues relating to site access, materials, workmanship and project requirements.
· Review and coordinate changes to project scope, specifications, schedules and work orders, and communicate approved variations to relevant parties.
· Monitor work undertaken by flooring contractors and installation teams, and report defects, delays, deviations and variations requiring attention.
· Report project performance and outcomes to management, recommend corrective action where required and implement approved decisions.
· Maintain accurate records of project paperwork, variations, site photos, defects and completion documentation.
· Coordinate defect rectification, final site cleaning and project handover.
Job Requirements
- At least 1-year relevant work experience. Any construction, management, coordination work will be considered to be relevant.
- Knowledge of carpet, timber flooring, vinyl flooring, underlay, adhesives, trims and flooring installation procedures would be an advantage.
- Strong organisational and resource coordination skills.
