Retail Assitance

Job Responsibility:

You will be responsible for:

• Opening and closing the store
• Customer Services
• Cash handling and end of day reconciliations
• providing feedback to the logistics to procurement managers
• Stock maintenance
• Cleaning and some heavy lifting
• Working weekends and public holidays
• Weekly sales and customer reporting to management
• Barista, training will be given
• Preparing video social media (Tik Tok, Instagram) for marketing and promotion

Job Description

·        Prepare shop for daily business trading

·        Prepare shop for daily closing at the end of business trading

·        Restock shelves and fruit and Vegetable racks and bins

·        Reconcile daily sales

·        Provide feedback for stock levels to logistics and procurement managers

·        Taking local School and Marae orders and discuss the orders with managers

·        Check goods availability, pack and prepare goods for School deliveries. 

·        Some heavy lifting is required

·        Forklift driver license would be a benefit, but not essential.  Training will be given.

·        Review and confirm daily deliveries from suppliers.  That is making sure the deliveries match the delivery note and/or invoice

·        Coffee making for customers, training will be provided

·        Assist with video preparation for frootshack customers, who are strong followers of our Tik Tok group.  We post new product arrivals on social media.  The locals support with their acting in the videos.

·        Daily shop floor cleaning and maintenance of shop floor equipment.  Training will be provided.

·        Be a team player and learn work safety procedures, so that you look after yourself and make sure your staff members are safe.
