Music teacher

Job Details:

• Hourly rate: $29-$35
• Type: full time permanent job

Key Duties

• Plan and deliver individual and group clarinet lessons for students of different ages and skill levels. 
• Teach clarinet techniques, including posture, breathing, embouchure, fingering, articulation, tone production and musical expression. 
• Prepare appropriate lesson plans, exercises, scales, études and repertoire according to each student's ability and learning goals. 
• Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their musical skills. 
• Prepare students for music examinations, competitions, performances and auditions where required. 
• Teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm and basic musicianship relevant to clarinet playing. 
• Demonstrate proper playing techniques and encourage students to develop good practice habits. 
• Select and arrange suitable musical pieces according to students’ interests and abilities.

Requirement:

• Flute is required.
• At least a bachelor degree or higher in Music
