As a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations while leading a dedicated team. Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and high service standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Implement and uphold company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility for safety and cleanliness.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Team Management

  • Supervise and train team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback regularly.
  • Organize team meetings to discuss goals, challenges, and achievements.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and high standards among staff.

Financial Oversight

  • Assist in managing inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize profits.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare daily financial reports and reconcile cash registers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with upper management on budgeting and financial planning.

Qualifications and Skills

  • New Zealand Level 2 or 3 qualification in business or management preferred OR Minimum one year of relevant work experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays is a must.
  • Possession of a clean driver's license is required for this position.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $25 to $27.50, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
