Marketing Specialist
Kalon Digor is an Auckland-based French artisan frozen dessert brand producing a range of
frozen desserts using authentic French recipes and pantry ingredients. We supply over 40
retailers across NZ as well as the hospitality industry and have been experiencing a solid
growth over the past few years. We are also expanding our business into French speaking
markets so we now require a Marketing Specialist to join our busy team.
Key responsibilities
Planning, developing and organising advertising policies and campaigns to support sales
objectives
Coordinating production of advertising campaigns involving specialised activities, such as
artwork, copywriting, media scripting, and media placement, within time and budget
constraints.
Analysing data regarding consumer patterns and preferences.
Interpreting and predicting current and future consumer trends.
Researching potential demand and market characteristics for new goods and services and
collecting and analysing data and other statistical information.
Developing, implementing and executing a marketing plan for the business
Planning and scheduling content across social platforms
Writing and creating engaging marketing content including social media posts, ad copy,
EDMs, website content, and promotional campaigns
Supporting product photography (prep, shot lists, organising products, liaising with
contractors)
Developing Meta and Google Ads campaigns including setup and optimisation
Attending trade shows and markets to gain direct customer feedback
Experience/Qualifications required
Minimum 1 years experience in marketing including all marketing activities i.e. developing
and setting up marketing plan and execution, social media content, creation and paid
advertising.
A marketing degree or above
Fully conversant with all modern marketing tools and software to perform the marketing role.
Strong organisation and time management (you'll be juggling priorities)
Confidence communicating with team members, suppliers, and contractors
Good written skills
Good understanding of social media and digital marketing (training provided)
Experience running or assisting with Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns
Fluency in French and English — French language skills are essential for maintaining the
authentic French identity of the brand in communications with French-speaking suppliers,
community and media.

Employment is permanent and for a minimum of 30hrs a week between 8am to 5pm.
Applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
Pay rate $30 to $32 per hour depending on experience
Able to withstand long periods of standing
