Sofa Factory Limited is a Furniture company based in Auckland. We are in a growth phase of our business and are looking for a highly motivated furniture Upholsters to join our expanding team.

The positions are based in Auckland Otara,and are permanent and full-time in nature.

About the Roles

The suceessful candidates will work in positions organizing and coordinating materials and Preparation of order and will be responsible for undertaking Quality checks on completed orders.

As an Upholsterer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Selecting and sourcing upholstery materials
  • interpreting design orders
  • Installing foam and batting to the frames.
  • Installing fabric and leather coverings.
  • Stitching, Gluing and nailing fabric.
  • Conducting quality checks on completed orders

Requirements

You will have to demonstrate that you possess the following:

  • At least 2 years' relevant experience
  • Knowledge and track-record of good Health & Safety practices in this line of work
  • Details oriented and ability to Lift and pull heavy objects

Pay rate:

$30p/h-$32p/h depending on experience.

Hours:

As these are full-time positions, you will be guaranteed a minimum 30 hours per week but will likely be required to work up to 40 hours per week,

Monday to Saturday.
