RND ENTERPRISES NZ LIMITED T/A HOPINCAB is seeking THREE reliable, customer-focused, and safety-conscious Taxi Drivers to join our growing team, located in Auckland, New Zealand. This is a Permanent full-time position for a minimum of 30 hours a week and it can be increased based on the workload. The pay ranges from $25.00/- to $27.00 per hour & can be negotiated for the right candidate.

Job Description:

  • Providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to passengers.
  • Picking up and dropping off passengers at requested locations in a timely manner.
  • Assisting passengers with loading and unloading luggage, shopping, mobility aids, and other personal belongings when required.
  • Planning and selecting the most efficient and appropriate routes while considering traffic and road conditions.
  • Ensuring passenger safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout each journey.
  • Complying with all road transport regulations, local traffic laws, and company policies.
  • Collecting fares and processing payments accurately through approved payment systems.
  • Maintaining accurate records of trips, fares, and vehicle usage as required.
  • Operating dispatch systems, GPS navigation devices, and mobile booking applications effectively.
  • Providing courteous and professional customer service and responding to passenger enquiries.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and roadworthiness of the vehicle at all times.
  • Conducting routine vehicle checks and promptly reporting any mechanical faults, accidents, or safety concerns.
  • Ensuring vehicles are adequately fueled, clean, and ready for service at the start of each shift.
  • Adhering to health and safety requirements and always maintaining a professional appearance.

Requirements

  • Valid Class I New Zealand or Overseas Driving Licence is required to drive a car in New Zealand.
  • Preferred knowledge of local roads, routes, and navigation systems.
  • Basic communication and customer service skills.
  • Must not have any prior serious driving convictions.
  • Must not have any criminal conviction Must work on the Weekends & Public Holidays
  • Early Morning Starts Floating Shifts & late-night finish
  • Must Physically fit with no medical conditions and capable of assisting passengers with luggage when required.
