We are looking for multiple Motor Mechanics to join us. This is a full time role with a minimum 30 hours per week.
 
This role is to repair, maintain and test motor vehicles and related mechanical components.
 
Tasks include:

·       Perform tasks to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle components.

·       Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other vehicle parts for inspection and assessment.

·       Repair or replace faulty and defective components, and reassemble mechanical systems following service manual guidelines.

·       Carry out scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups, to enhance vehicle performance and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.

·       Reassemble engines and vehicle parts after repairs are completed.

·       Test and adjust mechanical components post-repair to ensure optimal performance.

·       Diagnose and test parts using electronic diagnostic tools and equipment.

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • At least one year work experience OR a NZ Level 4 qualification or above
