Position: Store Manager
Location: Kaitaia Farnorth 
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week 

Salary: $25 to $35 per hour

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team, oversee the daily operations of the store, and ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.

  • Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to achieve business objectives.

  • Prepare staff rosters and allocate duties efficiently.

  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and coordinate with suppliers.

  • Ensure products are displayed attractively and shelves are well stocked.

  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue.

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and promptly resolve customer concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and company procedures.

  • Oversee cash handling, banking, and end-of-day reconciliation.

  • Monitor store expenses and assist in achieving financial targets.

  • Maintain accurate inventory and sales records.

  • Implement promotional activities and merchandising plans.

  • Ensure the store is clean, secure, and well maintained at all times.

Skills and Experience

  • 2 years’ experience or level 4 qualification 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
