• Full time:  30 - 50 hours per week

Job Description:

Due to the business need, we are seeking an experienced painter to join our team If you're passionate about delivering high-quality finishes and want to be part of exciting construction projects, we want to hear from you!

The role will include, but not limited to:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes and applying primer. 

• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, windows and other building surfaces using brushes, rollers or spray equipment. 

• Mix paints and coatings to achieve the required color and finish. 

• Protect floors, furniture, fixtures and other areas from paint spills and splashes. 

• Apply undercoats and finishing coats to achieve a smooth and durable finish. 

• Carry out touch-ups, repairs and repainting as required. 

• Clean and maintain painting tools, equipment and work areas. 

• Follow health and safety procedures when handling paints, solvents and other materials. 

• Work with builders and other tradespeople to complete painting work according to project requirements.

Job pre-requisites: 

• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience gained within the same industry will also be accepted as meeting the experience requirements.

• Qualification: Have a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification or equivalent qualifications/certificates is preferable but not a must 

• Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.

• physically capable of performing heavy work be able to work overtime 

• excellent work ethics and great time management passion for the industry.

• The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions
