Deliver high-quality frontend features in React/TypeScript for client projects in Auckland

The Role

We have some exciting upcoming contract opportunities here at ClearPoint and are looking for experienced Senior Frontend Engineers based in Auckland or Wellington to join us and help deliver quality outcomes for our clients across a range of projects.

You'll be working in a hybrid model, with 3 days a week onsite at our client's site, collaborating closely with design and product teams to build polished, user focused experiences. Sound like you? Here's what we're after:

The Experience We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS, including Hooks, Redux, and React Query
  • Experience working with microfrontend or microsite architectures
  • Strong understanding of component driven design, state management, and responsive UI patterns
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker)
  • Exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud native deployment patterns
  • Nice to have: exposure to AI assisted development tools, copilots, or agentic workflows
