General Labourer

We're looking for a General Labourer to join our Central Otago District Council maintenance team, based in the Central Otago region. This is hands-on work that helps keep local roads, spaces and community assets in good shape for the people who use them every day. You'll be part of a team that backs each other, gets stuck in and takes pride in doing Good Work. Day to day, the vibe is down to earth and supportive. When it counts, we switch on and deliver to a high standard.

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job. Experience in general labouring, civil, maintenance or outdoor work is helpful but not essential. A strong focus on safety, teamwork and doing the job right is essential. A full Class 1 licence and the ability to carry out the inherent requirements of the role is required. Someone reliable, proactive and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions is needed.
