Production Team Member
As a Production Team Member, you will be part of the Manufacturing team focused on delivering automation and sensing technology within New Zealand and internationally. This team plays a key role in ensuring customer commitments are met through the delivery of high-quality products and efficient production support.
In this role, you will assemble our company products within expected quality parameters, carry out testing to ensure quality standards are met, and support the management of production tasks to meet the production plan. You will also assist with material receipting, dispatch of finished goods and spares, inventory counts, and peer training and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble our company products within expected quality parameters
- Carry out testing to ensure quality standards are met
- Provide peer training and support, including managing tasks to meet the production plan
- Receive materials against quality control inspection standards and dispatch finished goods and spares as required
- Support accurate inventory cycle counts, stock counts, and stock movements
- Maintain all documentation in accordance with company and relevant quality standards
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Secondary level education
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement would be an advantage
- Computer literate, with SAP experience an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive approach to challenges and problem solving
- Current driver's licence
- F endorsement and OSH certificate would be an advantage
- Positive, team-based attitude
