About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be at the frontline of patient care, responding quickly and confidently to a wide range of acute medical and surgical presentations. Using your clinical expertise, you will undertake comprehensive assessments, provide evidence-based care, coordinate interventions, and support patients and whānau during some of their most critical moments.

About You

As a Registered Nurse, you will bring:

  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
  • A relevant graduate and postgraduate qualification.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, professional development, and delivering high-quality patient-centred care.
  • Desirable: Previous emergency or acute care nursing experience. A current PDRP portfolio. CORE Advanced certification.
