We have a 6-month opportunity due to our recent increase in volume.

We are looking for Process and Technical operators, who will be working on a rostered shift pattern at our Auckland site, located in Mangere.

As a Production Operator, you will be key in delivering high-quality products, right first time to our consumers day after day. You will assist in achieving our business goals through your ability to be alert, following our procedures and being a great team player.

As a Process Operator, you'll be working on the factory floor with your key responsibilities being:

  • Keeping high standards on Quality and Health and Safety.
  • Adherence to internal procedures.
  • Setting up and running automated production machinery.
  • Performing checks on our equipment to ensure production meets high standards and conducting risk assessments.
  • Running machine diagnostics and problem-solving.
  • Ensuring documentation is correct and complete. Maintain accurate records. Document procedures, configurations, and solutions. Clear documentation is essential for troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
  • Regularly practice technical tasks. Whether it's troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair, hands-on experience is invaluable.
  • Perform key processes for Cleaning, Inspection and Lubrication of the equipment.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies. Attend training and workshops.
  • We have roles available on day or night shifts, 5:45am - 6pm or 5:45pm - 6am (night shift allowance). Great roster of 12.25 hour shifts on a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on pattern - only work every second weekend. You can select the pattern (day shift or night shift).

To be successful you will have:

  • A sound working knowledge of Good Manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in operating machinery preferably in the food industry
  • The ability to work shifts (Days or Nights not alternating) Roster pattern is 2-2-3
  • To be able to work every second weekend
  • An understanding of hygiene requirements in food manufacturing plant (ideal if you have worked in a High Care environment)
  • To be someone who works well with all team members
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be willing to help when and where required

The role may include some lifting up to 25kg, having a physicality to meet these demands is an advantage.

You are passionate about manufacturing, proactive, confident, and process-oriented with a focus in orientation to results, and continuous improvement and you like maintenance or mechanics, this is the perfect role for you.

At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, dairy or food manufacturing is preferred.
