Clinical Psychologists - Eating Disorders Service
The South Island Eating Disorders Service based at Hillmorton Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient treatment for people experiencing an eating disorder. Education, liaison, and consultation are also provided for mental health services and primary health services around the South Island. We are a small but experienced multidisciplinary team who are passionate about ensuring the best health outcomes for service users.
We're looking for two New Zealand Registered Clinical Psychologists with current Annual Practicing Certificate to join us on a permanent basis, 0.9FTE and 0.5FTE. How these hours are arranged is to be negotiated with the successful applicants.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Clinical assessment, diagnostics and treatment of clients, utilising both individual and group therapy;
- Utilising behavioural and psychometric assessment where appropriate;
Skills and experience:
- Proven ability/experience conducting Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and psychological-based therapies;
- Experience within a similar area is advantageous, however we would also consider applications from new graduates
- Registration with the NZ Psychology Board and Annual Practicing Certificate is essential
