Plan and execute nationwide events that meaningfully connect farmers with Halter’s brand.

Events Specialist

We're looking for an Events Specialist who's great at doing one thing above all else: making things happen. This role is about rolling up your sleeves and delivering events that connect with Australian cattle and dairy farmers in ways that feel real, not corporate.

You'll work across two very different kinds of events, and both matter equally. On one side: scrappy, rep-led grassroots events alongside our sales team - think farm BBQs, pub shouts, small on-farm gatherings, where the whole point is trust, not polish. On the other: our biggest national and high-profile events, where Halter needs to show up with genuine power and stand out from everyone else in the room. You'll support both, learning when an event needs to be cheap and authentic, and when it needs to be premium and unmissable.

This role involves regular travel around the country for events, and requires a full driver's licence.

What The Role Looks Like

  • Supporting grassroots, rep-led events at scale working closely with our sales team, you'll help support the team running frequent events that build trust on the ground - farm BBQs, open days, welcome events. You'll make sure every one is tracked, lead-gen is captured, and Territory Managers, Business Development Executives and Account Managers feel genuinely supported rather than left to organise it themselves.

  • Supporting national and high-profile events. You'll play a hands-on role in our biggest brand moments - the events built to make Halter stand out at scale. This means logistics, supplier coordination, on-the-ground execution, and making sure every detail holds up to the standard these events demand.

  • Execution and logistics. You'll own the details that make events run smoothly: venue bookings, supplier coordination, travel and accommodation, merch and signage. On event days, you'll be on the ground handling setup, registrations, and troubleshooting whatever comes up. You'll also run pre- and post-event comms including invitations, reminders, follow-ups, surveys, working with the content team to make sure everything's clear, accurate, and on-brand.

  • Working cross-functionally. You'll work closely with reps, sales, and the wider marketing team to keep everyone aligned and prepared. That means making sure sales understands the purpose of each event, marketing has what they need to support you, and information flows clearly so nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Tracking results. You'll help track event outcomes - registrations, attendance, pipeline impact - and pull together feedback and learnings to make the next event better than the last.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Ready to roll up your sleeves. You enjoy getting into the details and making things happen. Organised, reliable, and you take ownership of your work without needing to be chased.

  • A clear and confident communicator. You're comfortable talking to anyone. Reps, Account Managers, suppliers, farmers at a BBQ, or a stakeholder at a national event. Friendly, practical, and you ask questions when something's unclear rather than guessing.

  • Keen to learn and grow. You're building a career, and you want the range: grassroots and high-production, not just one. You take feedback well and are motivated to keep getting better. There's a real path here to grow into a senior specialist role as you build that range.

  • Calm and capable. You stay level-headed when plans change or something goes wrong on the day. You're solutions-oriented, know when to escalate, and help the team keep moving.
