Utilities Manager
Join ACCIONA and be part of a team delivering one of New Zealand's most significant transport infrastructure projects. The Northland Corridor Warkworth to Te Hana - Ara Tūhono project will enhance connectivity, improve safety and support regional growth, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.
As Utilities Manager, you will coordinate and deliver utility works across this major infrastructure project, reporting to the Project Manager. You will manage utility relocations, diversions, installations and protection works, ensuring activities are completed safely, on time, within budget and in line with contractual and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with utility authorities, clients, consultants and contractors to manage interfaces and minimise programme impacts.
- Manage utility tenders and bids, including client workshops
- Develop construction methods and technical submissions
- Manage project schedules, cost plans and cash flow
- Oversee construction engineering activities across utility works
- Apply digital engineering tools to plan site activities
- Coordinate with utility authorities, clients and contractors
- Uphold safety standards across all utility works
- Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- Experience managing utility works on major infrastructure projects
- Experience coordinating multiple utility providers and complex interfaces
- Strong contract administration and commercial management knowledge
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
The project will initially be based in Auckland and then move to an office between Warkworth and Wellsford.
